Goats
This collection brings together all of my available goat paintings, where rural memory meets imagined worlds. Inspired by my upbringing on a North Yorkshire farm and my beloved pet goats, I place them within vivid, constructed environments that draw on mythology, nature and personal experience.
Through bold, often neon colour and a subtle, irreverent humour, I disrupt traditional animal painting, creating scenes that feel both familiar and strange. At their core, these works explore femininity, kinship and interspecies connection, offering a playful yet thoughtful reflection on belonging and shared experience.
