Cowboys

This collection brings together all of my available western-inspired paintings, where bold imagery and personal narrative intertwine. Rooted in my upbringing on a farm in North Yorkshire and shaped by my life in Liverpool, these works explore the personal journey of moving from the countryside to the city.

Through recurring motifs such as the cowboy boot, I draw on the visual language of the West to reflect on identity, femininity and belonging. These paintings consider what it means to navigate new environments, capturing the tension of imposter syndrome.
